YES! I want to empower African women to start their own businesses, obtain training in literacy, leadership and health for themselves and their families.
WGEF has had a lasting impact, but there remains thousands of women in northern Uganda who still lack access to loans, literacy, and training that they need to earn a sufficient income, keep their families healthy, send their children to school, and recognize their own self-worth. As we look back at our success stories, we also look ahead to a future where all women will have the chance to create a brighter, more secure future for themselves and their families.
